JESUS DID THIS FOR US!

Jesus loves everyone and everything,
He came to this earth for only one thing,
He gave us a gift no man can ever give
Yet he committed not even one sin,
Still they tore his beard from his beautiful chin
They beat him again and again
Then laid a crown of thorns on his precious head.
He was silent while being abused,
Not one word uttered as he was accused
Like a sheep led to the slaughter house
He opened not even his mouth
Jesus did not retaliate, judge or discriminate.
The Lamb of God suffered for all our sins!
Paying with his life, he was the ultimate sacrifice.
Therefore, our sins are now forgiven!
for it is forever written in the books in heaven.
But our God calls us to do good,
Even if it means suffering a little and at times feeling blue.
His life was an example, so we’d know what to do,
But we have to choose and follow through.
Be kind, even when people are being difficult or cruel,
Because our mighty judge is always watching me and you.
